Srettha Thavisin, the prime minister, has urged the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific ( ESCAP ) of the UN to work with ESPA to find creative ways to promote sustainable development in the Asia-Pacific region.

According to Mr. Srettha, the region is vibrant and dynamic, but at the current rate, it wo n’t be able to reach the Sustainable Development Goals ( SDGs ) before 2062.

Finally, he noted that it is necessary to protect against risks and negative effects, even though countries need to better utilize online technology to achieve sustainable development.
