Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra is scheduled to attend the 3rd Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD ) Summit in Doha, Qatar, from Oct 2-4, according to a source. The ACD platform will indicate Ms Paetongtarn’s first international trip since taking office.
She will make a statement at the event and hold bilateral discussions with Qatar, the United Arab Emirates ( UAE), and Saudi Arabia to strengthen relations and cooperation during the conference.
Following the ACD summit, the prime minister will participate in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations ( Asean ) -related summits in Vientiane, Laos, from Oct 8-11, according to the source.
While he is already in the US assimilating to the 79th UN General Assembly, foreign secretary Maris Sangiampongsa has reiterated Thailand’s willingness to work with the US and develop relations.
