After meeting with convicted former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra on Friday in this northern state, Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin on Saturday brushed off condemnation that Thailand has” two primary ministries.”

Given Thaksin’s popularity as an economic professional, the prime minister claimed to have spoken with him about financial matters and asked him for advice during the supper meeting. They even talked about financial control during Thaksin’s time in power, he noted.

Mr. Srettha, who was unfazed by criticism that Thailand now has two leaders, said:” Thaksin is widely recognized as an important number, and his circle of friends includes both current and aspiring leaders.

As Mr. Srettha began his March 15- 17 provincial browse in the state ahead of the mobile cabinet meeting that starts later in Phayao, the meeting took place on the next day of Thaksin’s three-day visit to his hometown of Chiang Mai.

The meal was hosted by another former prime minister, Somchai Wongsawat, who is also Thaksin’s nephew- in- rules.

When greeted by investigators, he appeared shocked and said he thought they may have covered Mr Srettha’s actions. He claimed to have enjoyed a good time at a meal attended by numerous people, including near friends.

In the meantime, Thaksin’s actions in Chiang Mai are causing calls for an exploration into state leaders whose actions were used to enforce his sentencing and parole.

Since being admitted to Police General Hospital for six months in lieu of prison time, there has been unlimited speculating about his wellbeing.

A key figure in the Network of Students and People Reforming Thailand, Pichit Chaimongkol, announced on Twitter that the organization would appeal the NACC to investigate the situation this year.

In contrast to the state of wellness that the medical staff and offense committee described when they evaluated Thaksin’s condition, Mr. Pichit claimed he appeared to be in when he was there.

He furthermore urged the government to examine Thaksin’s pardon and check whether his first release terms had been violated.

Ramet Rattanachaweng, a Democrat spokesman, claimed that Thaksin’s visit had revealed that he was n’t as ill as he had hoped.

He urged the NACC to question those accountable for enforcing Thaksin’s sentence, citing a lack of performance at various state-run organizations under government control.
