SINGAPORE: Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s National Day Message is going to be broadcast on Mon (Aug 8). Mr Lee will provide his message in English while other ministers will provide the message consist of official languages.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Financial Lawrence Wong may deliver the information in Mandarin.
Minister for Interpersonal and Family Development and Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs Masagos Zulkifli will do therefore in Malay, plus Minister for Transport S Iswaran may speak in Tamil.
The first broadcast, in English, will certainly air on CNA at 6. 45pm, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said inside a press release on Wed.
The particular Malay broadcast upon Suria will be at 8. 30pm followed by the Mandarin transmit on Channel 8 and Capital 958 at 8. 45pm. The Tamil transmit will run on 9pm on Vasantham and Oli 968.
