At its Regasification Terminal Sungai Udang( RGTSU ) in Melaka, PETRONAS has successfully rolled out a 5G private network, making it Malaysia’s first enterprise use of 5GP technology.

The deployment of a 5G private network by Petronas is anticipated to optimize its internal operations and bring about industry-wide change, with support from the Ministry of Communications and Digital and the Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission( MCMC ).

Fadillah Yusof, Deputy Prime Minister, presided over an event to mark the adoption, which was also witnessed by Fahmi Fafzil, Communications and Digital Minister. Its Secretary-General was Mohamad Fauzi Md Isa, the chairman of the MCMC, Mohammed Salim Fateh Din, and Petronas Senior Vice President Project Delivery & amp, Technology was Bacho Pilong.
