We will take you to see these types of unique landscapes and rare wildlife from Passing for Protection , a photojournalism exhibition that gives a glance of the natural beauty that has helped Cambodia generate its title as the Kingdom of Wonder. The culmination greater than a year of on-the-ground reporting and trips into Cambodia’s far-flung provinces, Passing for Security will transport viewers in order to distinctive communities across the kingdom. What should visitors expect to see at the exhibit?
Landscapes these people can’t even visualize. Over the last year, I have been able to report upon wildlife and forest crimes in Cambodia’s national parks and wildlife sanctuaries, which have left me within absolute awe. Putting myself in the position to take these images often took several weeks of planning, days of travel and hrs of hiking. I hope the images provide a snippet from these shielded areas and encourage viewers to consider viewing these places on their own.
How do this all get together?
The Globe happily joined The Pulitzer Center’s Rainforest Investigations Network in 2022. As part of this international network of reporters and editors, i was able to further invest in our environmental insurance of Cambodia’s diminishing natural resources by sending reporters, with this problem, to cover the most pressing issues in protected areas throughout the Kingdom.
