Ms. Joan Pereira ( PAP-Tanjong Pagar ) and Mr. Patrick Tay ( PAP- Pioneer ) both asked if the government would consider requiring all drivers to take regular refresher courses in order to improve road safety education. &nbsp,

In a written response, Ms. He Ting Ru ( WP-Sengkang ) inquired how many enforcement actions have been taken against drivers who no longer slow down enough when approaching pedestrian crossings.

Versatile WORK ARRANGEMENTS

Members of Parliament even wanted to know if businesses and employees would be getting help in the wake of the introduction of suggestions that mandate that all employers have a procedure for employees to submit a formal request for flexible work arrangements. &nbsp,

Employers are required to notify their judgement within two weeks of a demand for flexible work arrangements under the new joint guidelines, which go into effect starting in December.
