A home in the Non Din Daeng area has discovered a previously unknown 1,45 meter picture of a woman engraved in stone.

It was discovered and reported on Sunday and features a full front picture of a person wearing traditional dress and her left shoulder raised above her head. &nbsp,

In the Non Din Daeng city of No Din Daeng, near the Khao Krachiao hill, in the tambon Lam Nang Rong, is located.

On Monday, regional authorities visited the carved picture.

The Fine Arts Department was informed, according to scientist Suthinan Promchai, assistant commander of Phanom Rung Historical Park in Buri Ram, and he anticipated the sending of experts to analyze and decide the engraving’s age and historical value.

When his daughter saw the stone carving, Pramul Kongkrathok, 50, said he and his wife were scavenging exotic vegetables in the forest on Sunday. In the tambon Lam Nang Rong, the community resides in Ban Klong Pong, which is close by.

He hoped that authorities would protect the image correctly. The area may become developed to welcome believers and tourists, Mr Pramul suggested.
