Fire in Katong engulfs terrace house, two neighbouring units also damaged

SINGAPORE: A fire broke out at a terrace house in Katong on Monday&nbsp, ( May 13 ), gutting its front and also causing damage to two neighbouring units. &nbsp,

At 11.35 a.m., the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) received an alert about a fireplace at 25 Mugliston Road. &nbsp,

When first rescuers arrived, the fire was” well alight,” according to SCDF, and firefighters used water jets to include it in front and rear of the affected home, as well as three other nearby homes. &nbsp,

” At the top of the fire activity, a total of seven liquid jets were deployed”.
