Miss Saigon musical to hold auditions for role of young Tam in Singapore run

Do you want your baby to become the next movie star? On April 27 and 28, opened call interviews for the position of Tam in the Singaporean season of Miss Saigon are scheduled.

Base Entertainment Asia and GWB Entertainment made this known in a press release on Thursday ( Apr 11 ).

Tam, the child of the primary characters, Asian child Kim and American Coastal sergeant Chris, plays a small part in the music. &nbsp,

” The protagonist is adult identifying, of Taiwanese Heritage with a playing age of three years aged”, said the transfer. &nbsp,

Children between the ages of four and eight years older with a maximum elevation of 115 cm may play the role. And while Tam is male-identifying, the figure can be portrayed in any other female, but those with long hair may be required to cut it if solid.

The child must also be self-assured and able to remain silent and still because Tam does n’t have any lines in the play. &nbsp,

Applicants must be present during all practices and performances, as required by the registration form.

Venue of the interviews have yet to be announced.

The Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands, will house the Cameron Mackintosh creation Miss Saigon starting August 15. There will only be one time there.
