Sahira, who graduated from Singapore Polytechnic with a degree in coastal research before joining Celebrity Beyond in 2021, was frequently the only female fisherman among the countless people working on goods and merchant boats.

She copes by calling her relatives, especially her family, every other day, and keeping them updated about her sea adventures. Her parents were rightly concerned about their daughter’s choice to function at sea, but they have since changed.  ,
She admitted that while I enjoy what I do, saying goodbye to my kids when I leave for work is not easier. ” I’m always thankful for their support and prayers” . ,
