Man charged with slashing actor Ryan Lian at NEX mall

A 21-year-old man has been charged with allegedly stabbing Ah Kids to Men actor Ryan Lian several times at the NEX shopping center.

The accused, Aaron Samuel Yukon, &nbsp, was charged on Saturday ( Nov 23 ) with voluntarily causing hurt by means of an instrument for cutting.

Friday night, the alleged affair at the Serangoon store occurred.

The penalties for this crime is up to seven years in jail, a great, punishment or any mixture of these sanctions.

After his release, Yukon was admitted to Changi General Hospital and given the order to be placed in custody, according to court documents.

On November 29, his upcoming court appearance may be held.

Authorities had cordoned off a sheltered staircase outside the store when CNA was there on Friday just before 10pm.

Five armed men were directing people away from the area, and some more were seen inside the restricted place, looking at the ground.

Lian, who is referred to in court files as Lian Yong Yi, is well known for his roles in Money No Enough 3 and Ah Boys To Men 4.

Lian confirmed his injuries in an assault and said he was discharged from the hospital on Monday in remarks to the Foreign newspaper Lianhe Zaobao.

After being caught attempting to break open an electric lock at a Telok Blangah patient’s apartment, Lian was himself detained in September.

In that incident, police arrested one person under the&nbsp, Mental Health ( Care and Treatment ) Act after receiving a report.
