HONG KONG: Authorities in Macao instructed residents to conduct at least two days of COVID-19 tests after an individual who travelled from the Chinese language special administrative region to neighbouring town Zhuhai was found to have been infected with the virus.
The move comes days after Macao started to unwind stringent anti-COVID rules , including the resumption associated with travel to Zhuhai without quarantine from Aug 3.
The particular Macao government stated in a statement on Sunday (Aug 7) that all of the city’s 700, 000 inhabitants should take quick antigen tests on Sunday and Mon and upload the outcomes to a government site.
