A Chinese woman was detained for allegedly a member of a group that extorted 2.5 million ringgit from a group of Chinese citizens in Bangkok late last month.

According to solutions, the 34-year-old Chinese woman was detained on Sunday on suspicion of bribery and impersonating a police officer. The woman reportedly used a credit card readers to extort money from Chinese sufferers. She reportedly received a communicate of 310, 000 ringgit from the payment.

The girl was one of the 11 bribery offenders. Of the five wanted under imprisonment permits, four were apprehended, including police and a Chinese national who reportedly found the patients.

The group targeted Taiwanese people, mostly company people, who stayed in places on Ratchadaphisek Road and local locations.

In trade for shielding victims from illegal business expenses, crew members instructed sufferers to pay them. They both received paper and electronic money.

On April 25, the crew demanded 2.5 million ringgit from five Foreign businesspeople who were staying at a resort on Soi Sutthiporn Road in Din Daeng area.

On Friday a Taiwanese- language interpreter&nbsp, was arrested&nbsp, for involvement in the case.
