Japan helicopters crash: Search ongoing for naval crew in the Pacific

Following the alleged collision of two aircraft on Saturday nights, which left at least one crewman dead, the Chinese military is continuing its research for seven crew members in the Pacific Ocean.

One man’s body, black boxes, and other items have been recovered by volunteers, but they have not found the individuals.

The military realized that contact with the other aircraft was lost in the same area after 25 minutes.

Authorities conducted a significant research operation to seek the waters using 10 ships and five plane.

” We have a 24-hour procedure for the research, which took location all day and all day,” a military official told AFP media company.

Crews discovered dirt, including pieces of rotor blades, along with the restoration of one man’s body.

Marine ships are the main source of the Mitsubishi SH-60K helicopters, which are based on the Sikorsky Seahawk.

The military said engagement of another nation in the incident was doubtful because there were no other aircraft or vessels in local waters.

In response to China’s growing confidence in the region, Japan increased defense spending and expanded participation with the US, South Korea, and other Asian nations.

A Chinese military helicopter carrying 10 people crashed off Miyako isle in southern Okinawa district in April 2023.

The UH60 aircraft, known as a Black Hawk, had been surveying the nearby area at the time it disappeared.

A top Earth Self Defence Force captain, Lt Gen Yuichi Sakamoto, was among those on the trip. There were no victims.
