Authorities say criminal criminal Chaowalit Thongduang, who was detained in Indonesia last week and escaped from a hospital in Nakhon Si Thammarat in October, will be allowed to return to the country on Tuesday.
On Sunday, Justice Minister Tawee Sodsong and a group led by Justice Minister Tawee Sodsong met Chaowalit at the Thai Embassy in Jakarta. In a delay in Indonesia’s extradition process, the minister claimed an air pressure aircraft do take the fugitive back to the country instead of a corporate flight to ensure safety. He was scheduled to arrive on Tuesday, according to the minister.
The fugitive may travel to Nakhon Si Thammarat, a southwestern province, after takeoff at Suvarnabhumi airport.
Chaowalit informed the justice minister that justice had been served and that his safety may be safeguarded when he confronted him about how badly treated by the courts he had been.
The criminal praised Thai government for allowing him to be detained. He informed the secretary that he had visited three or four nations prior to the arrest.
Chaowalit added that the owner of the apartment where he stayed claimed to be an Aceh native and gave him a false ID card in Indonesia.
Chaowalit would face charges of actual assault, unlawful weapon hands, attempted murder, and attempted murder, according to associate federal police chief Pol Lt. Gen. Prachuap Wongsuk, who accompanied the righteousness secretary. Regulators would place him in a large- safety prison, he added.
According to Pol Lt. Gen. Prachuap, officials did discover Chaowalit’s exit from a Nakhon Si Thammarat medical next month.
After Chaowalit allegedly fought with and assaulted an Indian woman that on Thursday morning, Indonesian police made him face charges in Bali  resort.
The 37-year-old criminal was awaiting trial for attempted murder and other criminal offenses, including possession of firearms and crime. He escaped from Maharaj Nakhon Si Thammarat Hospital on October 22 last year after being taken it for medical care.
On November 8, authorities tracked him to a shelter in Trang’s Banthad rock collection. Following a fight, he escaped again into the hilly landscape that traverses Phatthalung, Trang and Satun counties.
Despite a massive hunt, the criminal managed to evade record. Eventually, it was reported that he reportedly left Thailand on a motorboat from Satun.
Chaowalit claimed in a number of movies that he had been badly treated while on the run.
Despite the involvement of several other suspects, he claimed that he was the only one given a sentence for his crimes. He claimed that the pending death case’s loan charm had not been handled pretty.
Chaowalit was sentenced in absentia to life in prison on December 25 for attempted death. The incident occurred on September 9, 2019, at a cafe in the Muang city of Phatthalung.
He was accused of conspiring with four people to try to kill a prosecutor assistant. Each of the five was given living sentences.
