Interpol issues red notice for Terra crypto founder

SEOUL: Interpol has issued the red notice for the South Korean cryptocurrency founder who is arrested of fraud within the company’s US$40 billion collapse, prosecutors stated on Monday (Sep 26).

Earlier this 30 days, a South Korean court issued a good arrest warrant regarding Do Kwon, thirty-one, who flew from South Korea to Singapore ahead of the accident in May.

But questions about their whereabouts intensified following the Singapore Police Force declared that he was not in the united states.

South Korean prosecutors had asked for Interpol place him on the red discover list and questioned the foreign ministry in Seoul to revoke his passport, saying that Kwon had been “on the run”.

“Interpol provides issued a red notice for Kwon, ” an official through the Seoul Southern Region Prosecutors’ Office informed AFP without giving further detail.

On Twitter, Kwon denied that he was on the run but did not reveal his whereabouts.
