The 40 crew members of three Indian fishing boats were detained on Sunday after they were discovered fishing in Thai territorial waters north of Phuket.
A reconnaissance plane spotted three fishing boats operating west of Phuket on Saturday, according to R / Adm Puchong Rodnikorn, deputy commander of the 3rd Naval Area. HTMS Klaeng was dispatched to investigate.
The three vessels, the KM Rahmat Jaya( with 12 staff members ), the crew of the Kambiastar( 12 crewmates ), and they were 75.8 nautical miles north of Laem Prom Thep, were discovered by the military ship on Sunday.
