Her Majesty the Queen did meet Thailand’s Vayu staff to engage in the 36th Phuket King’s Cup Regatta now.

Citizens in Phuket are anticipating the arrival of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana, who will join the Vayu staff in the IRC Zero course today and will compete in the global sailing competition. She is now taking part in the competition for the next month in a row.

This year’s race, running from Nov 30 to Dec 6, sees roughly 200 arteries compete, filling Phuket’s beach with living and pleasure.

Established in 1987 to glory His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great’s 60th birthday, the race has grown into Asia’s leading flying competition, promoting the later King’s legacy as a worldwide accomplished sailor.

The occasion serves as a testament to Thailand’s commitment to hosting world-class sailing competitions, including the exclusive 52 Super Series, as well as supporting the growth of the marine tourism industry.

Today’s races involved over 720 seamen across 100 arteries, both large and small. Competition demonstrated extraordinary skill as they entertained spectators along Kata Beach despite the strong winds and cloudy skies.

This year also marks the debut of crippled seamen in the SV-14 group, demonstrating inspiring skill and dedication.

The rewards will also be presented at the Beyond Kata Hotel immediately by His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua and Her Majesty the Queen.

Beyond Kata Hotel, Robinson Lifestyle Thalang, Muang Thalang School, and the Aeronautical Radio of Thailand’s company in Thalang area are just four places that the Phuket authorities have set up for the government to welcomed the royal family.
