When Tai was four, his relatives introduced him to golf.
As his interest in sport grew, so did his skills for the game.
My parents would take me to the driving range to play ball games with my younger girl, Tai said.
” That’s how I started. I attended high school in the United States, and I was already aware of my potential career in sport.
The Singapore Golf Association recognized Tai’s qualities, and he was named to the national team.
He represented Singapore at key professional games, including the World Amateur Team Championship and Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship, where he finished 14th as a student in 2019.
Tai wants to compete against the best at the Masters, but he already has his sights set on a specialized job when he graduates in 2026.
” Hopefully, in a year-and-a-half, after I finish college, I can turn professional”.
Eastern golfers are hoping that Tai will return to the continent of his delivery in future Asian Tour competitions, but Tai is no outbid.
” I would like to consider playing in the US earliest”, Tai admitted.
However, today’s paths are several different, and I’ll take a look at them when the opportunity arises.
