All HAPPENS?
Scammers who pretend to be customers would visit businesses or message them on Whatsapp allegedly to buy goods in bulk.  ,
They would typically demand things that the merchants do not carry or in large quantities that the companies could not quickly turn over.  ,
Swindlers would then suggest a” dealer” for patients to use to buy these additional items.  ,
Occasionally, pictures of fake payment documentation, such as receipts and bank purchases, would be provided to assure the patients and convince them , to make upfront payment for the commands placed with the” providers”.  ,
” Victims would just understand that they had been scammed when they discovered they did not receive any settlement from the’ customer’, or when the’ provider’ did not deliver the goods, or when both’ customer’ and ‘ supplier’ become uncontactable”, said the police.  ,
Businesses were advised by the authorities to “maintain vigilance” and implement procedures to evaluate any group they interact with.  ,
