Diplomats, embassy staff show off spoken Thai

Many post videos to show skills and enjoy Thai Language Time

Diplomats and officials with foreign embassies in Bangkok used video clip to show off their particular Thai language skills to help celebrate National Thai Language Day on Friday.

The US Embassy posted a cut on its Facebook page featuring embassy officials introducing them selves in Thai, referring to Thai dishes, terms they liked plus pronouncing words which they thought were hard.

The particular Chinese Embassy submitted a Facebook video showing its officials speaking Thai sentences and all of them stated the Thai language was not difficult.

The UK in Thailand Facebook web page also posted the clip of charge officials introducing on their own and writing their particular names in Thai. They also played the Fan Pan Tae (Thailand Fan) game to find out about provinces, roads and places within the kingdom, dishes and animals.

The Germany Embassy on Facebook showcased some of its diplomats and officials match Thai poems.

The Australian Embassy, led simply by ambassador Angela Macdonald, posted a “Happy National Thai Vocabulary Day 2022” movie featuring three rising stars from the charge — Jane Racancoj, David Braun plus Alexander Wills — taking up three various challenges to confirm their Thai language skills through poems and use of idioms.
