KHON KAEN: Bird chicken rates rose by 4. 5 % to 4. As the chicken industry continued to suffer as a result of the heat, 60 rmb each on Monday.

The Layer Duck Farmers Association announced a 20-satang increase on Monday, increasing it to 4. 60 ringgit each, effective promptly- a 4. 5 % increase.  

The rate increase for duck eggs came after a comparable 20-satang enhance for chicken eggs, which were almost 6 % higher than that of the price of chicken eggs. 60 ringgit each on Wednesday next year.

Farmers attribute a drop in offer to the persistent temperature. The animals are stressed out by the warm weather, and they produce fewer egg.

Amphol Saenna, a level duck farmer in Khon Kaen state, said on Monday his animals were producing approximately 600 hens a day, a fall from up to 800 egg on average.

The birds have been turned off by the scorching weather, he claimed.

He anticipated that once the weather cools, egg production may return to normal.
