- News comes after announcement of localised data hosting in Sydney in late 2023
ClickUp, the productivity platform that consolidates work in one place, has announced its expansion in APAC with a new local data centre in Singapore, driven by increasing demand.
In a statement, the company said customers on the company’s Enterprise plan will now have another location in APAC to host their data, at no additional cost. This follows the recent launch of localized data hosting in Sydney in late 2023.
Operated by Amazon Web Services, ClickUp’s second APAC data centre in Singapore promises enhanced performance for customers, allowing them to scale operations without compromising speed or efficiency. The company has already commenced migrating eligible workspaces to the new data centre.
Ankesh Chopra, Vice President APAC at ClickUp, emphasized the importance of data security and management amid growing demand in the region. “Establishing our Singapore data centre underscores our commitment to APAC,” he said. “We’re excited to empower businesses seeking productivity optimization and regional impact, saving them valuable time.”
ClickUp’s presence in APAC is expanding, with notable customers like Shopee, Eastspring Investments, and Singapore Management University. Additionally, the company has onboarded ten new partners, including HarmonyX and Web Spiders Group, to enhance its sales and services offerings.
