Chinese carmaker BYD drives its luxury marque Denza into Singapore

BYD, the world leader in Taiwanese electric vehicles, unveiled its luxury roadster Denza in Singapore at a glittering ceremony held at Shangri-La Singapore on October 10, 2024.

Headlining the launch is the Denza D9, a luxury all-electric, multi-purpose vehicle ( MPV ) that has sold over 200, 000 units in China since its debut in 2022. It was the most popular type in the nation in the country during the first half of 2024.

The silhouette but minimalist-sleek vehicle is snugly fit in seven adults, seven 20-inch bag and seven company backpacks. There are four exterior color choices &nbsp, – Arctic White, Whale Sea Blue, Harbour Grey and Cosmos Black&nbsp, – and brown or grey for the designs.

The Denza D9 is equipped with a high-performance permanent magnet simultaneous machine, which blitzes the decade jump in an impressive 6.9 seconds and measures over 5.2 meters in length.

The vehicle’s eight-in-one engine increases its manage efficiency by 50 %, and its 103kWh knife battery has a range of up to 520 kilometers, which is more than enough to reach Kuala Lumpur once-way and stand up to the demands of numerous family outings and corporate transfers. It’s not a dirty drive sometimes, with seats upholstered in Napa set, multi-usage movable tables, wireless charging ports, and even an in-built fridge and zero gravity massage functions in the middle row with touch-screen control in the armrest consoles.
