Asian airlines including SIA re-route flights due to India-Pakistan fighting

SINGAPORE: A spokesperson said that all flights operated by Singapore Airlines ( SIA ) and Scoot have been avoiding Pakistani airspace and have been taking alternate routes since Tuesday, May 6.  ,
In response to questions from CNA, an SIA spokesperson said on Wednesday that this may cause some planes to take significantly longer journey times.  ,
“SIA and Scoot will help affected clients by accommodating them on other planes, if required.”
