Amazon back-to-office policy ‘a bummer’ for Singapore employees, but more tech firms could follow suit

He added that Amazon wants to “operate like the largest startup in the world,” which includes being” joined at the hip with your friends when inventing and solving difficult issues.”

Other businesses that are known for their “hustle culture,” quite as Bytedance, the parent company of TikTok, now require employees to work daily from the office, according to Mr. Ethan Ang, co-founder of Nodeflair, a tech talent platform.

Nevertheless, not all researchers agree.

Amazon’s shift is “quite unexpected” as it goes against the trend of hybrid work becoming normalised, said Mr Sachet Sethi, senior director of technology and change at recruitment firm Robert Walters Singapore.

A complete return to the office may make it challenging to find and retain talent. Some employees may have to commute long distances and work long hours, he said, which can also affect how many successful hours they work.

People may think that management mistreats and mistreats them. According to Mr. Sethi, they might even feel worn out or burned out due to having to work every day.

One of the world’s foremost experts on work institution, health, and well-being called “dinosaurs of our age” in an appointment with the Guardian.

” If you value and trust people to get on with their job, and give them autonomy – and flexible work is one of those – they’ll work better, you’ll retain them and they will be less likely to have a stress-related illness” ,&nbsp, said Professor Cary Cooper, &nbsp, who is known for coining the term “presenteeism”.

” If you micromanage, you wo n’t get productivity gains, and you wo n’t attract the next generation”.

One of the Amazon workers CNA spoke with claimed that the hybrid work environment, which some had joined the company during the pandemic, was what they were taught, and that the adaptation may take some getting used to.

But she also pointed out that&nbsp, it is a “privilege” to have the option of working from home.

” I did n’t sign up for the job because it was hybrid”, she said. &nbsp,

” I’ll just consider it and tackle it along the way,” I said,” of course, the change may disturb my lifestyle, it would upset some of the points I used to do.” If it really becomes quite a discomfort point, I’ll merely find another job that offers versatility”.

IMPACT ON EMPLOYEES AND Loyalty

The new legislation would begin on January 2 of next year, according to Mr. Jassy, in order to provide the required lifestyle changes.

Given that many people have built a life around cross work, the individual who CNA spoke to claimed the lead time to make changes is “quite small.”

This could be “very, very disruptive”, in special for those whose schedules use specific pledges, he said.

Nodeflair’s Mr Ang said that while income and job opportunity are still the most important elements when choosing an company, the product’s data suggests that about 70 per cent of people treat hybrid work plans as “non-negotiable”.

Commentary: Singapore Paralympians’ gold medals shine, but radical inclusion will be the real prize

THE Trouble

A mischaracterization of illness is a part of the issue. There’s a tendency to correlate disability with obvious signs of physical damage, overlooking the difficulties faced by those with visible disabilities.

A common member will likely offer assistance to someone who is in a wheelchair, without a limb, or with a light cane. Persons with visible disabilities, however, may encounter the same routine difficulties, but without the recognition of others.

Visible disabilities include severe pain disorders, mental dysfunction or psychological illnesses that effect on a woman’s well-being in ways that require cautious, individualised accommodation.

Singapore’s laws have begun to address the needs of this group, but more work is needed.

The LTA’s Helping Hand Scheme, which was launched in 2019, now includes bracelets that people with visible disabilities can use on public transportation to letting people know they need the chair. However, commuters may not always be as flexible as one might expect, when CNA writer Grace Yeoh discovered when she tested it in 2023 and was standing.

How we approach those who have disability is a major obstacle to participation.

Arthur Frank, in his 1995 publication The Crippled Storyteller, writes about the various tales of disease. He describes what is known as” the restitution narrative,” which in many ways reflects how disability is perceived today.

In this narrative, illness ( or disability ) is seen as something to treat and overcome, which does n’t reflect the reality for many living with visible or hidden disabilities. This confluence of illness and disease may cause people in the community to feel sorry. But sympathy is far from encouraging. In reality, pity may be paralysing. &nbsp,

Think of the MRT riders admiring CNA’s Ms. Yeoh. They may include understood that the lanyard indicated a hidden illness and may have felt sympathy for her state. However, compassion cannot be used to influence activity. They did n’t know what response would be appropriate.

This is not unexpected. As publisher Susan Sontag describes in her guide, Regarding the Pain of People, kindness and compassion are fragile feelings, and if they are not translated into actions, they wither into apathy. It’s simple to do nothing when we are n’t sure how to deal with other people’s suffering.

Permit us return now to the Games. One notable instance is when world accepts those who, despite their impairments, have vowed to overcome the odds and accomplish something amazing.

But these we also need to be cautious.

There is a chance that when we oversaturate attention on those who have overcome their disabilities in some remarkable way, the tacit message being transmitted is that someone with disabilities should strive to perform the same tasks and accomplish the same goals as someone with disabilities.

When their lives do n’t coincide with socially accepted success criteria, this makes people with invisible disability extra visible.

Court ‘free to execute’ warrant for Pisal

Pisal: Among 7 accused officials
Pisal: Among 7 accused leaders

Despite his claims of political immunity, Pheu Thai MP Gen Pisal Wattanawongkiri, who is facing imprisonment for his part in the 2004 Tak Bai murder, is now able to face legal action under the 2017 law, according to House Speaker Wan Muhamad Noor Matha.

The former leader of the Fifth Army Place is named in an arrest warrant issued by Narathiwat Criminal Court next year, along with six other folks, for failing to appear for questioning about his position in the murders. In overall, seven high-ranking officers are accused of being responsible in the murder, which saw 85 people killed.

According to Mr Wan, political resistance, as outlined by Section 125 of the law, is meant to protect legislators from cruel prosecutors while performing their parliamentary duties. He noted that a section that states that courts may override political immunity if needed follows the section.

As a result, courts do n’t need to ask the House of Representatives for permission to investigate or prosecute MPs as long as it does n’t interfere with their responsibilities, he said.

For example, a judge does have the House’s consent to awaken MPs on time when they are not scheduled to carry out official duties as a lawmaker, he said.

When they fail to respond to these indictments, a judge may even issue and implement an arrest warrant, he added.

In response to a text the Courts of Justice sent to the House asking for the House’s participation in carrying out the Gen Pisal’s arrest warrant over the Tak Bai murder, Mr. Wan made the remarks.

Gen Pisal was on bored left yesterday, said Mr Wan.

Following a march in front of the Tak Bai police station in Narathiwat on October 25, 2004, the Tak Bai murder occurred.

Hema Committee report: Why are India’s biggest film stars silent?

A new report that details the oppressive working conditions and widespread sexual abuse against people in Malayalam-language movies is causing major changes in India’s entertainment sector.

However, the messages of solidarity and support have generally come from women, and critics claim that the silence of strong men, including India’s biggest and most adored stars, is audible.

The Hema Committee statement, based on the testimony of 51 people from the Kerala-based film industry, exposes years of abuse and claims that “women have been asked to make themselves accessible for sex on demand” and that they were repeatedly told to create” sacrifice and changes” if they wanted to work.

People in Cinema Collective (WCC), a group of females working in Malayalam film, petitioned the government in 2017 after an alleged best male actor allegedly sexually assaulted a top celebrity by a group of men. The panel was established in 2017.

Their 290-page report was made public last month, with portions of the victims ‘ and those who had been accused of harassment being redacted.

However, some women have formally acknowledged their ordeal since its launch on August 19 and more than a hundred police complaints have been filed against prominent men, including directors, producers, and other women.

In order to ensure that the survivors will ultimately receive justice, the Kerala high court has requested the establishment of a special investigation team ( SIT ) to investigate the allegations and the state government has requested that the SIT conduct an investigation.

People in all Indian movie industries, including the biggest and most well-known Bollywood, have frequently spoken about the practice of men asking for sexual favors in exchange for roles and the pervasive sexual harassment they experience.

Film writer and creator Shubhra Gupta told the BBC,” The fester is as strong as the sea across all American film industries.” Nowhere in the state has a single feminine actor who has not suffered. If anyone came over to talk, it will take us several years to deal with all those complaints”.

The shocking revelations about the state of Malayalam film have caused controversy and have been discussed on nighttime TV. Deedi Damodaran, a WCC part, told the BBC that the answer has been “overwhelming”.

Some people have now described how they had to leave the sector because of the bad things that transpired. They have no facts, but they’ve got some sort of closing by talking about their experience”.

Many of them, she says, have spoken out despite being trolled and abused on social media.

The statement has also created vibrations in other picture companies, with calls for reform being heard in local companies based in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka.

In Telangana, pressure has grown on the government to publish a report on the Telugu film industry that’s been waiting to see the light of the day for two years. An inquiry was instituted after an upcoming actress, Sri Reddy, protested by stripping down to her undergarments in public in 2018 “to draw attention to the sexual exploitation of women in the industry”.

West Bengal has set up a committee to investigate allegations of sexual abuse in the Bengali film industry, actress Ritabhari Chakraborty has said. This, she added, would “cleanse the industry from predators”.

Ladies in Tamil and Kannada film have even submitted petitions to their state governments asking for better working conditions for them.

Veteran Tamil artist Radhika Sarathkumar told the BBC that “men may be scared now” and that the Hema commission report has raised a lot of attention.

” It’s time women in cinema get together and speak up and stop this nonsense”, she said.

But the lack of support from the men in the industry, says Damodaran, has been disappointing.

Malayalam superstars Mohanlal and Mammootty have welcomed the report but said that nothing should be done to hurt the industry.

These heroes are revered as larger than life, but we’re awaiting their bravery, Damodaran told the BBC.

In Tamil Nadu, actor-politicians Kamal Haasan and Vijay’s silence has been noted, while Rajinikanth faced criticism for claiming ignorance of the report 10 days after its release.

” The harassment occurs every single one of us; why do men not know about it?” Maybe the male actors compartmentalise, maybe they choose not to see it”, Sarathkumar told the BBC. ” It’s very sad that every time the onus in on the women to protect themselves”.

Some have also pointed out that Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, and others have all made the decision to remain silent.

Gupta says their silence may be deafening, but it’s not unexpected. “I would’ve been very surprised if there had been a reaction. We saw what happened in 2018 after the #MeToo movement first started in Bollywood after actress Tanushree Dutta accused an actor of behaving inappropriately towards her on a film set in 2008.”

There was a groundswell of support for a while, and it appeared that Bollywood would take action. But then things were contained. None of the men suffered any consequences, they are all back to doing what they did. In fact, the women who complained did n’t get work”.

Chief Minister's Office The Hema committee members handing over the report to Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in December 2019Chief Minister’s Office

A key criticism of Bollywood is that, unlike other industries, none of its leading actresses have addressed gender issues.

Dutta, who received little support from her A-lister peers and has since claimed that she has been denied work, has described the Hema committee report as “useless”, adding that earlier reports about making workplaces safer for women had not helped.

Gupta claims that one of the reasons stars do n’t speak out might be to avoid trouble for themselves.

“ I think they keep quiet because they know the stakes are high, they are fearful of not getting work in the industry. Remember the time when Aamir Khan or Shahrukh Khan spoke about intolerance? They got trolled heavily and lost out on work.”

Damodaran, however, says the response to the report has given her cause for optimism.

” Film industries in India are deeply patriarchal and misogynistic. However, we ca n’t continue to practice the sexism and misogyny that women experience at work. Things must change, and they must.

Prawit absence under scrutiny

Thin Muhamad Noor Matha, the speaker of the House, announced on Thursday that he had never received a petition calling for an investigation into Gen. Prawit Wongsuwon’s regular absence from legislative sessions.

He said when the complaint is received, it will be processed according to political processes.

He said that as it involves the moral do of MPs, it will be forwarded to the House committee on morality, which comprises himself, the opposition leader, members from all social events, and former Members.

Mr. Wan responded to inquiries regarding the complaint that Prompong Nopparit, a former spokesman for the Pheu Thai Party, claimed he was submitting to request a review of Gen. Prawit’s attendance information.

Mr. Prompong claimed that Gen. Prawit was hardly ever seen at House meetings, which raises the question of whether the PPRP leader, who is a list party MP, has fulfilled his legal and social obligations as an MP.

The ethics committee will examine the subject in accordance with the House rules to determine whether Gen Prawit had actually committed an honest offense.

When questioned about whether Gen Prawit had actually requested a leave of absence before taking a break, Mr. Wan replied that he had no idea because the House secretariat normally handles the situation directly.

MPs may lose their lawmaker status if they consistently fail to go House conferences without giving a justification, even though he does not need his consent before taking leave.

Some members of the session were unable to attend any meetings because of their illness, but they did make sure to show up for critical votes, he claimed.

” ]MPs ‘ ] reasons are taken into account when considering matters like this”, he said.

Covid origins: Genetic ghosts suggest pandemic started in market

Getty Images A mother racoon dog attending to her offspringGetty Images

A team of scientists claims that beyond a shadow of a doubt, the Covid crisis started with infected pets sold at a business rather than a lab leak.

They were analysing plenty of samples collected from Wuhan, China, in January 2020.

A list of creatures, including racoon canines, civets, and bamboo rats, are identified by the findings as possible sources of the crisis.

Even mentioning one market stall as a hub for both creatures and coronavirus, the research is unable to provide conclusive evidence.

One of the most incredibly important scientifically-based sources of data on the pandemic’s causes was taken by Chinese officials during the first stages of Covid.

When people in Wuhan facilities presented with a secret asthma, a first association with the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market was established.

Groups swabbed locations like stalls, the interior of bird cages, and products used to remove hair and feathers from slaughtered animals when the market was closed.

Getty Images Picture showing the closed and empty Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market in Wuhan, China.Getty Images

Their analysis was published last year and the raw data made available to other scientists. Now a team in the US and France says they have performed even more advanced genetic analyses to peer deeper into Covid’s early days.

To find out what animals and viruses were on the industry in January 2020, it involved analysing thousands of small fragments of genetic code, both DNA and RNA.

” We are seeing the DNA and RNA souls of these creatures in the economic specimens, and some are in booths where]the Covid disease ] was found too”, says Prof Florence Débarre, of the French National Centre for Scientific Research.

The results, published in the journal Cell, highlight a series of findings that come together to make their case.

It demonstrates that both vulnerable animals and Covid disease were found in the same location, with some swabs containing both the genetic code of coronavirus and the animal. This points to very specific areas because it is n’t evenly distributed throughout the industry.

According to Prof Kristian Andersen from the Scripps Institute in the US,” we find a pretty continuous history in terms of this pointing- even at the level of a second stall” to the market as being the very good source of this particular pandemic.

But, being in the same place at the same time is certainly proof any animals were infected.

Getty Images A masked palm civet sitting in a treeGetty Images

The common squirrel dog was the animal that most often appeared in the samples. In experiments, it has been demonstrated that this can both capture and convey Covid.

Hoary wood rats, Malayan porcupines, and the veiled palm civet, which was also linked to the Sars outbreak in 2003, were among the different animals that were linked to the pandemic. The virus-spreading experimentation has not been conducted.

The breadth of the genomic analysis allowed for the identification of the particular fox dog breeds being offered. In contrast to those raised for their leather, they were more prevalent in South China’s crazy. Experts are given ideas about where to look second thanks to this.

Reading the disease’s password

The research team also compared the popular samples from patients in the early stages of the pandemic and examined the hereditary code of the examples found on the market. Looking at the variety of different abnormalities in the popular tests also provides hints.

The tests provide no evidence that Covid entered the market more than once, leading to two potential spillovers between animals and people. The researchers claim that this supports the idea that the business is the cause rather than the pandemic beginning elsewhere with the business igniting a superspreading event.

The abnormalities were also used by the scientists to reconstruct the disease’s family tree and examine its past.

These two overlap, according to Prof. Andersen, when we determine when the pandemic started and when we determine when the pandemic at the business started.

The entire coronavirus family that existed at the start of the epidemic was discovered at the business in their scientific publication.

The business segments are distributed across all the tree’s trees, according to Professor Michael Worobey of the University of Arizona, in a way that is consistent with the biological diversity that actually begins at the marketplace.

He claimed that Covid had an animal source, in addition to this study and other data, such as premature cases and hospitalizations that were related to the market.

According to Prof. Worobey,” It’s way beyond reasonable doubt that this is how it happened,” and that other data-related theories necessitated “really imaginative absurd scenarios.”

” I believe there has been a lack of understanding about how powerful the information is, even up until now.”

Did the epidemic start around?

Getty Images Aerial view shows the campus of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, in China's central Hubei province Getty Images

The Wuhan Institute of Virology ( WIV ), which has long studied coronaviruses, is the source of the virus, according to the lab-leak theory, which claims it originated from wildlife rather than spilling over from it.

It is located a 40-minute pull away from the market. The US knowledge society was asked to assess the likelihood of a leak, whether it had been intentionally or not.

All the organizations involved in the investigation said a hole or possible animal causes were possible in June 2023.

Animals were the most probable cause, according to the National Intelligence Council and four other organizations. It was more likely to be a experiment event, according to the FBI and the DOE.

Prof Andersen said:” To some this seems like the most likely situation- ‘ the lab is best it, of course it was the lab, are you terrible? ‘. I completely get that debate”.

Nevertheless, he says there is now many of information that “really points to the business as the real first core” and “even sites within that business”.

Finding the animals that might have caused the pandemic can give researchers some clues as to where to look for more proof of an animal nature.

There does no longer be any information to be found because fields destroyed their pets in the early days of Covid.

” In all likelihood, we missed our possibility”, says Prof Worobey.

Prof Alice Hughes, from the University of Hong Kong, who was not involved in the study, said it was a” great research”.

” ]But ] without swabs from the actual animals in the market, which were not collected, we cannot obtain any higher certainty”.

Prof James Wood, the co-director of Cambridge Infectious Diseases, said the investigation provided “very solid information” of the pandemic beginning in animals stalls at the business. He claimed that because the samples were taken after the business closed and the pandemic likely started weeks earlier, it could not be clear.

And he warned that “little or nothing” was being done to stop the life industry in animals, and that “uncontrolled transmission of bird attacks poses a serious risk of future pandemics.”

‘Digital nomad’ visa promotion stepped up

European minister excited about the chance to attract more international talent

“I welcome all of those who would like to come and work [while] in Thailand,” says Foreign Affairs Minister Maris Sangiampongsa. (Photo: Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
“ I welcome all of those who would like to come and work [while ] in Thailand, ” says Foreign Affairs Minister Maris Sangiampongsa. ( Photo: Ministry of Foreign Affairs )

According to Foreign Affairs Minister Maris Sangiampongsa, the government is stepping up the promotion of its new Destination Thailand Visa (DTV ) to draw in foreigners who want to work while visiting Thailand.

Mr. Maris stated to writers on Thursday that his department had a significant impact on the expansion of the DTV, which is expected to help the nation generate income.

It may make it easier for foreigners to work long distance and keep for a long time in Thailand.

“A friend of my son’s has been working with ( US-based ) Disney World but he is spending most of his time in Phuket — for six months already, ” he added.

He claimed he was aware of the promotions that some hoteliers in Phuket have made available to overseas “digital nomad” who want to sit there while working remotely for international employers.

These people make up the majority of the Destination Thailand Visa specific business.

According to Mr. Maris, DTV users wo n’t have to deal with complicated visa applications or lengthy visa applications.

Foreign nationals you reside in Thailand more as a result of the DTV. They are considered “global skills” who may provide special knowledge to Thailand’s economy, the chancellor said.

Also, their reputation is expected to benefit the country ’s business as a whole, from regional suppliers to restaurants, hotels and tourist attractions.

The program is anticipated to bring in income for locals because these foreign nationals can live and work in Thailand together for six to one month, he said.

“This will also help stimulate the Thai economy, ” he added. “ I welcome all of those who would like to come and work [while ] in Thailand. ”

Those who use the DTV may be in Thailand for up to 180 times per visit, with the option to extend it for 180 more time, for up to a month.

Electronic Travel Authorisation

Thailand has even made a significant step in order to become more tourist-friendly, including China and India, by increasing the number of nations that are available for visa-free passage from 57 to 93. The passage time has been increased to 60 days, and that time can be extended to a further 30 times at an immigration business.

The government is introducing an Electronic Travel Authorization ( ETA ) system, which it claims will be hassle-free for those planning to travel to the nation to prevent potential abuse of the expanded visa exemption system.

Mr. Maris claimed that the ETA was a way to improve protection and travel convenience while enhancing the screening process for incoming visitors.

Around the year’s close, the ETA is anticipated to become effective. It aims to reduce immigration techniques, track foreign citizens and increase their pleasure.

Visitors seeking visa exemptions may receive special QR codes that they will need to provide to immigration authorities upon completion of the online ETA form, according to Mr. Maris.

Tourism gateway

Additionally, Mr. Maris added that he recently discussed Thailand’s potential as a provincial tourism hub with foreign nations in a press release on Thursday.

The government is currently working on its “Six Countries, One Destination ” plan to position Thailand as a regional tourism hub. The six states are Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam.

Mr. Maris promised to start negotiations with these five additional Asean nations to put in place this Thailand-related shared tourist immigration policy.

“There has been much advancement in the system, I believe it will take place immediately, ” he said. If it is implemented, it will help to boost tourism to the area and significantly boost the region’s business.

Consider the Schengen Visa in Europe, which makes it simple for people to visit various Western nations with just one card. ”

Justice minister supports more clarity on ethics

Tawee claims that the current contract rules are vague and that independent bodies have too much authority.

The Constitutional Court has wielded substantial power over the country’s system of governance with its interpretations of the 2017 charter drawn up by a panel appointed by the 2014 coup makers. (Bangkok Post File Photo)
With the help of a panel appointed by the 2014 revolt leaders, the Constitutional Court has a significant amount of authority over the nation’s system of governance. ( Bangkok Post File Photo )

Justice Minister Tawee Sodsong has argued that the constitution‘s rules on ethics for political office holders should be amended, arguing that the concept of “honesty” provided by such procedures is ambiguous.

The recent law has been in use for more than seven years, according to Pol Col Tawee, the head of the Prachachart Party, and his group has backed amendments to dangerous rules.

He made reference to Part 160, which specifies requirements for those seeking to join the cabinet. They are required to be blatantly fair, and they must not conduct serious ethics violations against political officeholders.

There is no clear concept of ethics. To what degree does the name’ integrity ‘ have to be defined”? he asked artistically.

He referred to Srettha Thavisin’s removal from the post of prime minister on August 14 as an honest violation of his appointing former convict to the cabinet of minister, Pichit Chuenban.

According to Pol Col Tawee, separate authorities have too much power that needs to be restrained.

” We agree with independent companies keeping the government in check and tackling problem, but they should work within the correct guidelines”, he said. Political events are also possible to dissolve very easily under the law.

The contract court ruled last month that the Move Forward Party bedissolved and that 11 of its administrative members be barred from politics for ten years because the group’s proposal to amend the Lese-majeste law threatened the country’s constitutional king and national security.

The criticism People’s Party, the rebirth of Move Forward, this month expressed its support for greater quality when it comes to defining morality. Many of its associates are listed among the 44 Move Forward people who are still facing ethics inquiries because of their support for lese-majeste rules reform.

Pol Col Tawee said contract amendments addresses issues including decentralisation, and person’s rights and freedoms, but opinions from different sectors may be gathered.

Somchai Srisutthiyakorn, a former election inspector, warned on Thursday that any attempts to modify the contract, especially provisions regarding ethics for politicians and the context of power of separate agencies, may fail.

” Is it suggestive of blanket parole”? Mr Somchai asked, citing the Pheu Thai Party’s earlier pay to go for a bill during the Yingluck Shinawatra management. That ignited large city protests, which led to the 2014 revolution that ousted the Pheu Thai-led state.

The cover amnesty bill was viewed as an effort to legalize her older brother, former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, who was at the time in self-exile worldwide.

In a related development, Deputy Finance Minister Julapun Amornvivat announced on Thursday that the second phase of the project’s stimulus program would be carried out with funds already designated for it.

He was speaking out about the possibility of the second phase being abandoned after the government indefinitely delayed announcing the results for those who had registered using a smartphone.

The government made the decision this month to prioritize the distribution of funds, totaling 14.5 million, to the disabled and state welfare card holders. Distribution of 10, 000 baht per head, in the form of cash deposited in their accounts via PromptPay, is scheduled to begin on Sept 25.

According to Mr. Julapun, about 180 billion baht was designated for the second phase, which would be distributed using the digital wallet, which will serve as the foundation for the digital economy.

” We want to lay the foundations for the digital economy as well as to stimulate the economy. We remain firmly committed to our goal”, he said.

Mr. Julapun addressed questions from Sirikanya Tansakun, a member of the opposition People’s Party, about the delay in the release of registration results, saying the delay was done to prevent confusion while the first group of 14.5 million recipients receive cash handouts.
