Cantopop legend George Lam to perform in Singapore this April, with wife Sally Yeh as special guest

Old-school Cantopop fans will have something to look forward to this April. Veteran singer George Lam will be taking the stage at Sands Grand Ballroom for his concert, One Night With George Lam, on Apr 28. Get ready for twice the entertainment as Lam will be joined by his wife, singer Sally Yeh, who will be making a special guest appearance.

Tickets to Lam’s concert will go on sale on Monday (Feb 19) from 3pm via Marina Bay Sands’ official website. Ticket prices will go between S$88 and S$388, excluding booking fees. Sands LifeStyle members will enjoy 10 per cent off ticket prices.

Considred one of Hong Kong’s pioneering artistes, Lam released his first album in 1978 which comprised classics such as In The Middle Of The Water and Need You Every Minute. In a career spanning close to 50 years, Lam has put out over 40 albums in English, Mandarin and Cantonese and has played lead roles in movies like 1982’s Boat People and 1992’s King Of Beggars.

In 1996, Lam married Sally Yeh who is one of Hong Kong’s most acclaimed singers, having released award-winning singles such as Heartbroken In The Past and A Woman’s Tears.
