After a fight erupted between two passengers on the flight BR08 from Taipei to San Francisco on Tuesday ( May 7 ), several EVA Air stewardesses had to intervene.  ,
About three days into the long-haul flight, the Chinese aircraft confirmed to local media sources TVBS and SET News that the event occurred. One of the men reportedly made the decision to change seats because a local customer was coughing.  ,
However, another person objected as that chair was not clear, leading to punches being thrown.
In a minute- long video posted on X, screams to” stop”, “move” and “do n’t hold me” can be heard amid the scuffle as other passengers got up from their seats.
After some time, both men found a foothold in the distance and were moved to different chairs.  ,
The journey continued to San Francisco without incident after the captain determined that there was no immediate risk.
Both gentlemen were subsequently given to US officers, and studies are still being conducted, according to EVA Air. Eventually, the aircraft acknowledged the airline’s zero-tolerance policy and praised the airline’s prompt response from its flight attendants.
It added that it will continue to monitor the health of the flight crew and consider providing incentives in the interim.
