Thailand does provide venues for an international LGBTQ mountain and other events in Bangkok and Phuket in 2028 to demonstrate its commitment to female inclusivity.

Srettha Thavisin, the prime minister, stated that the government had approved funding from the main resources for the initiative to take what he termed the “world pot” of LGBTQ and related activities to Thailand in the next four years.

” Thailand is prepared to compete for the hosting of the event to show the government’s position on gender equality. In a message posted on X on Sunday, he stated,” We are even ready to make Thailand a place for the Pride people.”

The size of the funds for the summit’s plan was not disclosed in the cabinet’s synopsis, which was released on Sunday.

One of the most significant occasions for LTBGQ is WorldPride. It is hosted by InterPride, a global community of more than 70 countries ‘ Pride activities.

Together, the Move Forward Party and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration have mobilized to encourage the money to host the world meeting in 2028. One of Move Forward’s main initiatives is sex justice.

Thailand would be the first Asian nation to host the mountain if it were effective. After the organisers insisted the phrase” Taiwan” been removed, Taiwan cancelled the event scheduled it in 2025, according to Reuters.

Washington does take over for WorldPride 2025’s location in Taiwan. On its website, InterPride does not specify who will host the event this time.
