The Board Oversight Committee will support Management as it focuses on maintaining and building on the growth trajectory of the company, which partnered with Google Cloud to ink the inaugural Cloud Framework Agreement (CFA) with the government of Malaysia as a Managed Service Provider in May 2022.

Awantec board forms management committee in wake of CEO departure Adopting the resignation of CEO Rezal Rahman (pic) , the particular Board of Directors of AwanBiru Technologies Bhd (Awantec) possess announced the business of a Board Oversight Committee (BOC) brought by Ramanathan Sathiamutty and supported simply by Dr Abu Hasan Ismail.

The BOC which takes effect through 1st August 2022 will be tasked to oversee and provide assistance to the management team of Awantec impending the appointment of the new CEO. Rezal will be leaving Awantec after serving their six-month tenure as CEO to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities.

Ramanathan, who is an Independent Non-Executive Director, has been a director at Awantec since 2014 and was also the former advisor to Ceo of Celcom Axiata, as well the Controlling Director of IBM Malaysia Sdn Bhd.

Ramanathan currently chairs the Risk Management Committee of Awantec. Abu will be the founder of Awantec, recognised as one the primary providers of outsourced ICT Training plus Services in the country.

Currently, Abu is the Founder Mentor at Awantec where, he remains as the single largest aktionär of the Group and a non-executive board member.
