ASEAN warns on risk of Taiwan 'miscalculation', ready to help dialogue

PHNOM PENH: Southeast Asia’s ASEAN regional grouping  warned upon Thursday (Aug 4) of a risk that volatility caused by stress in the Taiwan Strait could lead to “miscalculation, severe confrontation, open conflicts and unpredictable consequences among major powers”.
