The American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand Foundation (ATF) is now accepting applications for its 2023 scholarship programme.
Each year, the ATF selects deserving Thai university students to complete their studies through targeted scholarships. This year, the foundation aims to provide 85 scholarships to deserving students and expand the programme to include vocational colleges.
The ATF scholarship programme does not only provide financial aid but has students participating in activities and camps organised to help develop their career and life skills, gain exposure to professional environments, and explore career possibilities.
Graduates of the programme have gone on to find employment with Chevron, Esso, Ford, and other Amcham member companies, contributing to the overall development of the Thai economy and society.
The ATF Alumni includes students from remote areas of Thailand. Over the last 30 years, the ATF has supported over 3,000 Thai students to complete their university degrees.
Applications for the ATF scholarship programme are open until Aug 31. To be eligible, students must demonstrate financial need, have a cumulative GPAX of 2.8 or above, and an English GPAX of 3.0 or above, among other requirements. They must also commit to 20 hours of community service per school year and participate in online Amcham events, orientation camps, and career camps. More information on the application process can be accessed on Amcham’s website.
