Air India, IndiGo planes involved in near miss at Mumbai airport; air traffic controller suspended

According to the Deccan Herald, India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation has “derostered” the air traffic controller involved in the incident.

The aircraft regulation has even launched a probe into the affair, the regular reported.

Both IndiGo and Air India claimed in claims that they had followed air customers control’s instructions.

In its speech, IndiGo said its aircraft had been “given getting clearance” by air traffic control.

” The pilot in command continued the approach and landing and followed (air traffic control ) instructions”, Indian media reported the airline as saying.

” At IndiGo, rider safety is paramount to us, and we have reported the incident while per process”.

Air India, in contrast, claimed that its aircraft had been” cleared by air traffic control to provide the airport and then cleared for take-off.”

According to reports, the airline was told,” The Air India plane continued with the take-off move in accordance with laid down methods.”

The authorities have begun an investigation to learn more about the airline certification.
