[ The following report was derived from Marco Mayer’s most recent conversation with Francesco Sisci in Rome. ]
The US Central Intelligence Agency ( CIA ) has released two videos [Secure Contact with the US Central Intelligence Agency ( CIA )], all of which are widely known, to help Chinese officials become their informants and agents. How can you evaluate the message’s technical merit and press effect?
The director and director are at the center of the troubles plaguing the Taiwanese hierarchy’s two wires, and the videos are very well made. In the extreme variety process of the Chinese governmental system, both candidates risk losing their jobs, their fortune, or their freedom.
The Chinese government operates like a tower. Therefore, the more people are eliminated or are at risk of being eliminated in the selection process, the higher you go in the tower. These individuals harbor animosities and motives for dissatisfaction. They might betray because their rulers ‘ first impressions of betraying the method are that they are.
They previously believed they could still have influence after retiring.
“go into company” using their network of friends within the group. But, they are being ignored and sidelined now. Additionally, they run the risk of being investigated and losing their privileges and flexibility.
In theory, there are many people who are interested in this propaganda/provocation, most likely Chinese functionaries and secretary. The video is designed to increase suspicions and lead to poisoning the environment in a closed-off world where no one knows what the other’s intentions are now and where no one has history of illustrious defections in the past.
This applies to functionaries of all kinds and to high officials who might believe their employees to be liars and offer themselves to the CIA. In the end, I don’t believe that many people will choose to operate for the CIA. In every situation, the chance of being detained for crime and the subsequent punishment is vastly greater than that of being merely sidelined.
Nevertheless, the hanging threat is sufficient to raise the system’s now large entropy. The officials will be more obtrusive and, consequently, more challenging. The controls may become tightened more frequently, which could suffocate the party and cause more unhappiness.
Then there is the problem that the CIA might make it known that so-and-so or so-and-so have done so for America, leading to further studies and controls.
There are already studies in China indicating that there is a possibility that Chinese friends who are “patriotic” are having spies among the Chinese who are now returning home are doing the same or worse.
Every mistrust is given compound by the video in this environment. China may ignore the videos, so the spies had finally find more room or close their eyes to intensify repression, creating the conditions for which spies would elude being spied on or would want to sell themselves to America.
There is a program issue. When China is completely under Chinese control of imperial tradition, when it is actually total, when it was the world ( and there was no option to turn to, as with the empire ) or when it was completely closed, as with Mao.
However, they can evade total power when the closure is only enforced by China because the Chinese you travel abroad to address trade issues and financial issues. Finally, total power becomes a game and a string instead of a benefit.
If other authoritarian regimes are successful in imposing a sturdy communist or nationalist ideology that brainwashes and prevents millions of Chinese from conducting business with outside the world, they may become authoritarian.
China’s system is only partially open, so it cannot shut itself off at the risk of jeopardizing the relationship that makes up its formidable monetary website. Because its apparatuses are chosen based on a strong commitment to the president, not just the system or the nation, the current Chinese nationalist strategy becomes unconvincing.
Everything becomes more visible because of the combination of sunlight, openness, and air, which is the virus ‘ cure. Then it becomes more difficult to control and utilize the frustration of its functionaries by foreign powers and agents, like the CIA.
In an empty society, persons may vent their anger and dislikes and have fewer excuses to feel betrayed and thus betrayed. However, this requires altering the democratic system in China. Beijing: Is it prepared?
Then, we might see more cloak and dagger games of dogs chasing their tails in the upcoming months, and the current paranoia could turn into psychosis. The CIA triumphs in this situation, whether or not informants are hired.
Another crucial aspect is that the Chinese are aware of the risks that the video pose, almost like a lethal plague disease, because of how profoundly weight they are. They will respond accordingly, which will likely be quite harsh, and the chances of a limited trade agreement are waning.
Beijing won’t need to cooperate with those who produce these videos and won’t have faith in them. It will thus attempt to put the American leadership in a difficult situation.
