SINGAPORE: A  Bartley Secondary School student was detained on Monday ( Apr 28 ) after cutting a teacher with a penknife.
In response to CNA’s inquiries, the university announced on Tuesday that the professor had been taken to the hospital for outpatient care.  ,
According to the school’s principal Britta Seet,” He has been given health leave and is recovering nicely at home,” adding that a policeman report was made.
The student has not yet returned to school, according to Ms. Seet, adding,” The scholar is assisting with research.”
A pupil was detained and a report was lodged, according to the authorities.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force, according to CNA, received a call for assistance on Monday afternoon around 12:25 PM, adding that Tan Tock Seng Hospital received one patient there as well.
The school superintendent stated that” we are in contact with the student and the student’s parents, and we will continue to support the student and the staff members.”
