In Mountbatten SMC, shipping attorney and PAP activist Gho Sze Kee may face independent candidate Jeremy Tan.  ,
Ms. Gho stated in a statement to a crowd of people at the Kong Hwa School on Wednesday ( Apr 23 ) that her goal was to make the SMC more “inclusive.”
This “walk up and create a society in Mountbatten where no one ever feels isolated” she said.
Ms. Gho may experience Mr. Jeremy Tan, an independent.
Mr. Tan, 34, told CNA that he was motivated to run because he thought the upcoming technology would be “worse off than the latest or previous generation.” He stated that his occupation on his nomination papers was retired.  ,
” I’m 600 meters from Mountbatten,” I say. I’m vying to become a full-time, separate MP. I think I may be close to my people in order to be a great MP.  ,
” It’s the best place for me to work because I can see what’s happening on the ground without making excursions, because I live and breathe, exist, exist, you know, and use all the amenities,” said Mr. Tan.
