17 company stations will welcome visitors.

On Friday, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration ( BMA ) inaugurated a command center to oversee the safety of Songkran revelers in Bangkok and 17 other city locations.
The center will continue to be operational until Thursday, March 15.
Bangkok City Hall meeting on Friday, according to Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt, was focused on security measures for the celebration with the BMA putting emphasis on convenience and public safety.

A safety plan for April 11 through April 17 was developed by the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation ( DDPM), which included high-risk areas. With personnel stationed at 43 areas, security efforts included nighttime entertainment venues and event spaces.
