LEARNING Moving OTHERWHERE
On Wednesday evening, when CNA visited Newtonshow’s different locations at 221 and 232 River Valley Road, enrichment classes appeared to be taking place as normal.
After learning about the flames on Tuesday, the majority of kids picking up their kids told CNA that they were concerned and scared.
However, they made the decision to send their children to the advancement shelters run by Newtonshow as they were, either through field visits or by holding them at different places.
Mr. Brady Ambler was concerned when he learned of the blaze on Tuesday. But when he realized the location of his seven-year-old son’s school was different, he was reassured that he should send the child to robotics camp.
A four-year-old boy’s mother, who simply wanted to be known as Ms. Kong, said she was unconcerned because she thought the enrichment facility would be “extra cautious” after such a situation.
Parents expressed hope for more details at the center because it had not kept up with the flames research. According to Ms. Kong,” I think it’s fair to provide them some time because it just happened monday.”
However, a parent who only wanted to be identified as Mr. Lim, said,” I don’t think I’ll think about ( Newtonshow ) until something is fixed.” He claimed that the blaze caused him to be concerned about how the organization handled security.
At 221 River Valley Road, his brother, who is four and a half years old, was a part of an enhancement station. Mr. Lim claimed that the center called him on Tuesday afternoon about 1 p.m. to let him know his brother was secure.
He continued, noting that he was not removing his brother from the tent because the classes had already been paid for. Additionally, he was assured that there wasn’t a cooking class at the exit at 221 River Valley Road.
CNA contacted three employees who all opted not to speak to the media. Newtonshow Camp said it wouldn’t post until it had a” distinct knowledge” of what happened in response to questions sent over WhatsApp.
On Tuesday, SCDF received an alert about the fireplace at the storehouse at around 9.45 am. Based on initial studies, the authorities have stated that no bad enjoy is suspected.
The Building and Construction Authority stated on Tuesday evening that neighboring houses were safe for ownership and that the building’s integrity and structural integrity were unaffected. The damaged building will be shut off as a precautionary measure, it added, though.  ,
