Other improvements include more pleasant daily commutes for residents, as well as more senior-friendly services and initiatives like the Metallic Upgrading Programme, which will launch quickly in Chong Boon’s four precincts.
Darryl David, Gan Thiam Poh, and Nadia Samdin, two other Members of Parliament ( MPs ) from Ang Mo Kio GRC who were present at the event with Mr. Lee. Additionally, Yio Chu Kang SMC Yip Hon Weng and Kebun Baru SMC Henry Kwek were present as well.
The town council stated in a media release that AMKTC ( Ang Mo Kio Town Council ) has worked closely with government agencies and community partners to implement significant improvements across the town’s seven divisions.
” Caring for the young and elderly, fostering diversity, and enhancing sustainability will continue to be AMKTC’s priorities going forward,” said the organization.
Mr. Lee  highlighted a number of changes over the past five decades. Residents benefit from better amenities, including more family-friendly group spaces, improved homes, and expanded markets and food centers.
