Lee and her pals take no funds for this job. And make no mistake, putting up a one-day singing is plenty of work. Music may be arranged and scored, and schedules may fit for rehearsals before the chorus comes along. Then there are the shipping, social media, ticket, and sheet music producing, which Lee handles on top of her career as an alternative professor at LaSalle School of the Arts and rearing three young children.

” But you know, the key lesson is that everyone’s of,’ Oh my gosh, you’re doing this for complimentary?'” Lee laughed. ” And they feel like they want to give up, which is great. And then there are people who say,’ Hey, I didn’t help with song but I can help with register and products. That’s actually nice”.

” I like the idea of dispelling the idea that if I’m going to enjoy anything, I need to pay for it”, she added. ” I really hope it can always be completely so it’s available for more individuals. As long as we may preserve it as a free function, I would love to (keep it that way )”.
