71-year-old arrested after man dies following alleged fight in Lavender

SINGAPORE: A&nbsp, 71-year-old man was arrested after a 69-year-old died following an alleged fight in Lavender on Sunday ( Dec 22 ).

According to preliminary findings from the authorities, both men were engaged in verbal altercation and had reportedly fought with one another.

The officers had attended to the affair at Block 805 King George’s Ave at about 11.35am.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it brought two persons to Tan Tock Seng Hospital in response to inquiries from CNA. &nbsp,

The 69-year-old man was taken incapacitated to a hospital where he later passed away, according to authorities.

The 71-year-old was detained for using dangerous means to deliberately inflict harm.

Officers investigations are ongoing.
