Although Dr. Boon Vanasin’s ex-wife and girl, both of whom are Thonburi Healthcare Group founders, claimed they had nothing to do with his reported multi-billion-baht scams, authorities still detained them for further investigation.

Pol Maj Gen Atthaporn Wongsiripreeda, chief of Metropolitan Police Division 1, said on Sunday that Jaruwan Vanasin, the 79-year-old ex-wife, and Nalin, 51, first denied all claims during their investigation throughout Saturday evening.

Both surrendered on Saturday and faced expenses relating to common scams, false saving and money-laundering.

However, the chief said,” but their information is useful for the event and police will find more defendants.”

The case’s expected large number of affected persons was anticipated by Pol Maj Gen Atthaporn.

There have been 247 complainants totaling more than$ 7.6 billion baht in the area that is under the purview of Metropolitan Police Division 1. He claimed that no events in other regions or areas of the funds have yet been included.

” Broken parties are filing problems in another provinces”, the captain said.

According to him, the investigation of Ms Nalin, the princess, finished on Saturday evening. Ms. Jaruwan also requested that her interrogation proceed on Sunday afternoon and that she occasionally taking medication breaks. At Bangkok’s Phaya Thai police depot, both were detained.

Thai authorities would request an arrest warrant from Interpol because the community members informed the police that Dr. Boon was in China.

According to their attorney, their attorney claimed that Dr. Boon’s healthcare-related projects, which cost billions of baht, used the names of Ms. Jaruwan and Ms. Nalin to obtain loans and maintain loans.
