People health minister Somsak Thepsutin announced on Sunday that a 10-year strategic plan to increase the number of healthcare workers would be presented to the government on Tuesday.

He claimed that the program is in line with the commission’s decision on July 9 to address the lack of these professionals in the public care sector.

Mr Somsak said the government aims to increase the number of student doctors, nurses, professionals, Thai conventional medicine practitioners and public health workers by 31, 074, 124, 558, 9, 800, 18, 169 and 36, 993, both, over the next 10 times. &nbsp,

” With the government’s desire to make Thailand a wellness and health hub, the healthcare worker shortage must be addressed as soon as possible to ensure the widespread medical plan has a sufficient number of healthcare workers.” &nbsp,

” Now, Thailand has &nbsp, 71, 616 physicians and &nbsp, 209, 187 nurses, but, in addition to recruitment only, three strategies have been designed to boost efforts to raise the number of nurses to join the goal, “he said.

He claimed that there needs to be more care assistants working alongside an additional 10,000 medical assistants who have completed a one-year training program in the first three times.

Additionally, better employment opportunities will be provided to keep skilled midwives employed by the government.

He said that at the exact time, 375 resigned training nurses will return to work at nurse-training organizations.

The minister says qualified workers are essential for the business, and they will be hired at appropriate levels over the next ten years.
