Hands that are believed to belong to the murdered woman whose body was discovered earlier
Police in Phuket Town on Thursday discovered what is thought to be the severed arms of an 18-year-old woman who was allegedly killed by her sweetheart earlier this month.
On Wednesday, a body was discovered dumped beneath an enhanced freeway in the Muang area of Pathum Thani.
About 4 kilometers from the body’s location, the severed hands were discovered in a plastic bag close to the Chiang Rak river, according to authorities.
Found along with the arms were a lock of long hair, children’s clothes, napkins, meals and baby wipes, authorities said, adding that the goods were sent for closer inspection.
Thanakorn Eiamlaor, 18, the suspected perpetrator, was detained on Wednesday after the defendant’s body was found.
At first he did not engage while police were trying to locate the defendant’s arms, said Pol Col Narong Iamrahong, commander of the Pak Khlong Rangsit police station.
A group of soldiers and rescue workers were able to locate the suspect after he later admitted to dumping the palms, he claimed.
According to a source with knowledge of the investigation, the believe was spotted riding a bike to the river where he was seen throwing a dark plastic case into the waterway and leaving.
The suspect’s father reported to police that his brother had been taking drugs for a mental disease that had been identified two years ago.
The believe was detained at a housing complex as he attempted to abuse by taking numerous medications, according to authorities.
The body of the victim, identified as Ranya Saensuriwong, 18, was found wrapped in a duvet, bound by three dark belt.
Both of her hands had been cut off at the ankles, and the body sustained slice wounds to the spine.
