Chaowalit Thongduang, an inmate who allegedly escaped from a Nakhon Si Thammarat medical last October while receiving care and eventually engaged in a police battle, has been apprehended in Indonesia after seven times on the run.
According to Justice Minister Tawee Sodsong’s record at Government House, Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin confirmed Chaowalit’s arrest on Thursday, citing a statement from Justice Minister Tawee Sodsong.
According to Mr. Srettha, the arrest occurred after Indonesian government and the Royal Thai Police and the Justice and Foreign Affairs departments sought assistance. No additional details were immediately accessible.
Chaowalit, 37, was serving occasion for attempted murder and was facing a slew of different legal charges, including murder, another attempted murder and weapon possession.
After being taken it for medical care, he fled Maharaj Nakhon Si Thammarat Hospital on October 22.

He released videos recordings while he was on the run that made accusations of unfair treatment.
