Federal police officer with a reputation is being asked about unregistered qualities in London.
National Police Commissioner Torsak Sukvimol and his wife will face charges of failing to report their two properties to the National Anti-Corruption Commission ( NACC ) at the beginning of next month.
Pol Gen Torsak, who was transferred to operate at the Prime Minister’s Office in March, said on Thursday that he was on leave and had just learned of the claim. Together with his attorney, he may prepare the necessary papers for the NACC.
He claimed that when the NACC summoned them for questioning on Tuesday, he and his family did not intend to miss it. He claimed that he had already requested a different day for the session before the beginning of June.
He argued that he was innocent and that he had informed the NACC about the London goods in 2022.
NACC secretary-general Niwatchai Kasemmongkol claimed in an interview with the news program Inside Thailand on Wednesday that the committee had invited Pol Gen Torsak and his family, Nipaphan, for questioning on May 28.
However, the few finally asked to prolong the appointment. He claimed that the delay was suitable for legitimate reasons.
When questioned how many times or how many times Pol Gen Torsak and his wife could prolong their visit, he responded that he could not say accurately.
He said it depended on their grounds. The decision will be made by the audit committee that is reviewing the situation. Information, such as health certificates stating an condition if it is a case of sickness, may be required to be submitted with the complaint.
He claimed that the NACC came to the conclusion that Pol Gen Torsak and his wife had never declared the value of two homes in London, which were for about 20 million baht. The police chief previously claimed that the components were the property of his family.
