On Thursday, an artillery killed from HTMS Chonburi unintentionally hit HTMS Khirirat, igniting a fire and injuring three people. Both Thai military vessels were anchored at Laem Thian Pier, Sattahip Naval Base, in Chon Buri state.

When the ordnance shot from HTMS Chonburi struck the back section of HTMS Khirirat at 11.50am, it hit the back section of HTMS Khirirat.

The firefighter aboard the battleship quickly managed to contain it.

According to preliminary information, at least three people were injured.

A malfunctioning one of HTMS Chonburi’s artilleries caused an unexpended square to remain in its moved barrel after returning from a blasting drill on Wednesday and returning to the base for repairs.
