Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs( MFA) confirmed that five Singaporeans and a family member were on board the flight, which departed Tel Aviv on Saturday, in response to CNA questions on Sunday( Oct 15 ).
MFA has been providing diplomatic support to Singaporeans in Israel and the Palestinian Territories ever since the fight started, according to the organization.
The ministry added, & nbsp, using South Korea’s official name,” The Singapore embassies in Tel Aviv and Seoul worked closely with their host governments and Republic of Korea embassy counterparts to facilitate the Singaporean families’ departure from Tel Air to Seoul and their safe return to Singapore.”
The Republic of Korea’s state has received a sincere thank you from the Singaporean government for facilitating the safe removal of its members.
In a Facebook article on Saturday, South Korea’s Air Force announced that it would be evacuateing its residents on Friday using KC-330 versatile plane. & nbsp,
The aircraft left Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport the following day with a total of 220 passengers, including 163 North Korean nationals. 51 Chinese citizens were also among those who were ejected.
MFA had previously advised Singaporeans residing in Israel and the Palestinian Territories to leave as soon as possible using corporate means. & nbsp,
It was further stated that Singaporeans may refrain from making any unnecessary trips to Israel in light of the Israel-Hamas issue.
