COEs for Category B and Open Category cross S$140,000 for the first time as car premiums rise across the board

SINGAPORE: Prices for Category B and Open Category COEs crossed the S$ 140, 000 mark for the first time in the most recent bidding exercise on Wednesday( Sep 20 ), with Certificate of Entitlement( COE ) premiums closing mostly higher. & nbsp,

Premiums for Category A vehicles— those with a horsepower of at least 130 bhp — closed at S$ 105, 000 ( US$ 76, 927 ), an increase from S$ 101,000 in the previous exercise.

Prices for bigger, more potent vehicles in Category B increased to S$ 140, 889, breaking a previous record great of$ 134,889. & nbsp,

In the previous selling exercise, COEs for business vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, increased from S$ 82, 889 to Mho 83, 801.

In the previous practice, motorcycle rates closed at Mho$ 10, 700, a decrease from S$ 10, 901.

Open Category Offerings, which can be used for any kind of car but are typically used primarily for big vehicles, increased from Mho$ 137, 000 to S$ 144, 640. The cost of Open Category credentials has now increased for the second time in a row. & nbsp,
